Its been over a week since my little get away with Michael to San Diego. I've Just been so busy right when we got back. I had to jump on an iPhone battery case promo, I did the visual effects, but more about that later. BUT San Diego...what a fun and pretty city. So full of life, and loud people. I had such a great time letting loose and acting like a college kid again.
We stayed in downtown near the Gaslamp at the beautiful Hilton Bayfront hotel, literally looks over the bay into Coronado Island. We went to a Dodger vs. Padres baseball game (Go Dodgers, and Dodgers won) at Petco Park, which I've never been to before. This stadium is amazing, Its beautiful and huge! It's right in the heart of downtown so the view behind the stadium is all the buildings, so cool, reminded me of a movie set, just perfect.

Isn't that AMAZING! Straight out of a movie set, and then you can see the planes coming in and they fly so close to the buildings, I'm m just waiting for the director to yell "CUT!" haha

The locals were not happy that Dodgers won, they threw my hat off when I asked to take a picture, haha. It was all out of good spirits.
After the game and eating hotdogs, nachos, tri-tip sandwiches and washing them down with Shock Top and Stella beer we hit the night life in Gaslamp. How fun is Gaslamp...so many people bar hopping. We went to a few fun bars, you have everything there, dive-bars to clubs with dancing and music. When my boyfriend and I have a few drinks in our systems we become extremely friendly with strangers and always make new friends, we met some Russians, some Brits and a few natives from San Diego.

There was a lot of Dodger fans too.

This was a cover band that covered so many fun 80's and 90's bands. They were so good! My favorite was "Push It" by Salt and Pepper, they killed that song. Look how cool that guy is!

We ended our crazy night with a 2am pizza back to the hotel. Yes I put on about 4 pounds from this trip from all the food and drinks...but it was worth it, we had a blast.
The next morning we woke up and walked along the bay to the ferry right next to our hotel. We took the ferry to Coronado Island. Its just a quick 15 mintue little boat ride but you get to see the whole bay, its so pretty.

The last building on the right was the hotel we stayed at.

All the docked yachts! What a dream to own or even cruise on one of those.

On the ferry!

The bridge that goes to Coronado Island if you choose to drive and not take the ferry.

Coronado is amazing. Its a small community just living life. We rented a bike and literally rode around the whole island, passed the Navy Base and almost down to Mexico if we kept going, I had to stop Michael and tell him we need to turn around now!

So much riding around on the cool bike, and definitely a great leg work out. We rode around for about two hours.

At this point we have ridden so far, that these tourist bikes were no where to be found anymore just locals and their regular bikes, people were starring.

This little bird was enjoying our Cold Stone ice cream dripping onto the table and ground.
We also took a drive to La Jolla Beach. I love this beach! It's everything out of a magazine. Its such a pretty sight to see and the weather was perfect. It is also known for its seals, but I guess they were on their "break".

All and all, It was such a great quick get-away with my man. We came to San Diego when we first started dating so its a little sentimental for us. We love it there.
If you haven't been to San Diego or the Gaslamp, I suggest you do!
