Hi! and Welcome. I am the Creative Director of The Pretty Geek. I started this lifestyle blog as a creative outlet and honestly, I needed a hobbie.
Where do I start...
I was born and raised in the beautiful and chaotic city of Los Angeles, CA. I grew up in a little, but very well known town called Burbank. Yep, where all the studios are. Now I live by the beach in Brentwood, and couldn't be happier to start my new life here living with my most supportive, hard-working and if I must say; handsome boyfriend.
Professionally I work in Post Production as a Visual Effects Artist, if you dont know what that means, i'll tell you. Visual Effects is basically all the cool computer effects/graphics you see in Television and Film. So design is my background and passion...now, you can probably guess where I got the name "Pretty Geek". Since I obviously choose the "Arts" I am not a writer. I repeat, I am NOT A WRITER! So bare with me here. I want to express myself through the things I create.
With that being said.. follow me on this creative lifestyle blog. From art, travel, movies, music (I can't work without it), design, food (I love to cook) and fitness (the root of happiness). I'll take you visually through my daily life. If you have any questions on the things I design to the recipes I cook, to the hiking trails or fitness routines I do, I would absolutely love to tell you exactly how it is done.
