So this is my new favorite show on FOX. I am actually a bit of a TV and Movie snob (you can blame my co-workers at the Institution for that). I guess when you work in the industry you get to know the in's and outs' of how the whole production goes down, so you learn to love or hate very quickly...but enough of that.
So I give Wayward Pines a thumbs up...so far. Last night it aired their 4th episode and I am hooked.
M. Night Shyamalan being the Excutive Producer I was a little skeptical about the show only because we all know what Shyamalan is about, his "Plot Twist" which can get very predictable and just going to say it, boring, but maybe its the cast that keeps me intrigued about this show.
Matt Dillon, Carla Gugino, Juliette Lewis and Terrence Howard guest starring and I can't forget my early 2000's girl crush Shannyn Sossamon. Great cast, bravo.
Matt Dillion's character "Ethan" is in the Secret Service and was sent to Wayward Pines on a missing persons case. When involved in a car accident, Ethan wakes up in the hospital not knowing what has happened to him. Searching for answers and a working phone, Ethan quickly learns that this town Wayward Pines is anything but ordinary, this town has secrets and Ethan isn't getting out any time soon.
I don't want to spoil it if anyone is interested in actually watching it, but I do recommend it. Thursday nights at 9pm on FOX. Get into it.
